ProfPack Terms of Use

This website provides pre-release information and support. It does not accept payments, complete subscription purchases or promise that ProfPack is currently available through an app store. Any future paid offering is subject to the information and conditions presented by the relevant store and applicable law.

What ProfPack does

ProfPack is an organisational and documentation tool for case information, people, photographs and notes, PDF evidence reports and portable backups. It is not legal advice, does not certify evidence and does not guarantee legal admissibility or acceptance of a report by a court, insurer, authority or other recipient. It is not affiliated with police, government or a court.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for lawful capture, possession, storage and sharing of your material, obtaining permissions where needed, respecting other people's rights and checking information before relying on or sharing it. Do not use ProfPack unlawfully. Captions, timestamps and backup integrity hashes do not by themselves establish authenticity or legal certification.

Local data and backups

ProfPack currently stores case and evidence data locally. There is no ProfPack user account or cloud account recovery service. Keep and check backups outside the app. Device failure, clearing data, deletion, uninstalling, storage limits or interruptions can cause loss. A PDF report cannot restore a case. Purchase restoration does not restore evidence. Exported and shared copies are your responsibility, and app deletion cannot recall them. ProfPack backups currently have no password-protection or encryption feature.

Free and Pro

Free allows creation of up to 3 active cases and addition of up to 10 evidence photos per case. PDF reports, case backup export and restore remain available. Existing or restored evidence above these limits remains accessible; further additions may be limited until below the Free allowance or Pro is active.

Where available, ProfPack Pro Annual removes these commercial case/photo limits. Device capacity and technical image/report limits still apply. The store supplies localized pricing and purchase conditions; no trial, price or future feature is promised here.

Paid subscription purchase, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the relevant app store's rules where applicable and by applicable law. Review the store's subscription details before purchase. Manage subscriptions through that store. Cancelling future renewal does not necessarily end an already-paid period immediately, and uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.

Pro access is checked against store purchase state and may be cached for up to 72 hours offline, never beyond a reliably known expiry. Pending or failed purchases do not grant Pro. Expired Pro affects further additions under Free limits, not access to existing evidence. Restore Purchases rechecks eligible store ownership.

Rights and contact

Review reports and maintain independent copies of important information. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights or any liability that applicable law does not permit excluding. For support, questions or complaints contact shsimsek@icloud.com.
